Olde Salem Days Grand Prize Contest Official Rules
Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in Olde Salem Days Grand Prize Contest (the “Contest”) constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on September 9, 2023 at 10:00am EST and ends on September 11, 2023 at 4:00 pm EST (the “Contest Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
During the Contest Period, you will have the opportunity to scan a QR code link to an MMCA contest registration form or, using a provided URL, directly access the MMCA webpage with the contest registration form. To constitute a valid drawing entry, your registration form must: 1) include your first and last name; 2) include your valid email address; 3) include your valid mobile telephone number; and 4) include the drawing number from the ticket obtained at MMCA Olde Salem Days booth/table.
Prize Eligibility
Only one entry per family will be eligible for entry into the Contest. If multiple entries are received from the same family, MMCA, at its sole discretion, will choose one entry for Contest eligibility. Eligible entrants winning one or both minor prizes are eligible for the Grand Prize
Only two regular prizes will be awarded and only one Grand Prize will be awarded.
Families registered for classes before the Olde Salem Days event will not be eligible for entry into the Contest.
Random Drawing
On or about September 14, 2023, MMCA will tally the number of eligible entries received through the contest registration form. The eligible entries will be transferred to an electronic document and sequentially numbered. In two separate runs, a random number generator will select a number associated with the sequentially numbered eligible entries to determine the Contest winners of the regular prizes. In a third and separate run, the random number generator will select one, additional number associated with the eligible entry list to determine the Contest's Grand Prize winner.
General Conditions
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, technical problems, security malfunctions or in the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by MMCA in its sole discretion, MMCA may, in its sole discretion, either: (1) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Rules; or (2) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, no participant shall be eligible for a Reward of any type. MMCA reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Rules or in a disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, MMCA reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by MMCA to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Privacy & Information Submitted
As a condition of entering the Contest, you give consent for MMCA to obtain and deliver your name, address, and other information as needed to comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and rules. Any information you provide to MMCA may be used to communicate with you in relation to this Contest and in relation to free, dance trial classes, or dance class registration. Information submitted in connection with the Contest will be treated in accordance with the MMCA’s Privacy Policy (do we have one?).
